not too bad..right now it's raining and the wind is kicking up.
wish i could sleep. laid down for 2 hrs and back up, feeling like i got lots of sleep...

happy thursday everybody!!! dad went back to the hosp. yesterday. got a funeral home visit to go to later.

Happy Friday Everybody!!!
I'm up early and working during the day; just until noon. Nice change of pace but since I was here until midnight and then back in at 6am I'm starting to drag. Sure hope this last hour goes FAST! Have a fun weekend. The temps are going to drop here in Iowa and SNOW flurries all weekend. I still don't have my furnace on and I won't turn it on until I have plastic on the windows and the window ac out so I guess I'm going to be busy on my afternoon off. See you all Monday and just so you know Kasey Kahne will be accepting the trophy Sunday in victory lane. |

dad's feeling a little better, but the dr has been checking his heart. it was acting up a little, and they gave him a stress test yesterday. the dr doing the hip surgery checked on him and said he has to be in good shape before he'll do the surgery. so he'll be checking on him every day till monday. met dad's stomach dr yesterday. mmmmm, very nice looking. and very nice. talked to dad like they'd been good friends forever. isn't it funny how much kasey kahne looks like tony stewart there in victory lane!!?!! lol

lol to both of you. Kahne would have finished higher but that darn Miller car got in the way. Smoke came from wayyyyy back to have a great finish.

dad had his surgery today. got his hip fixed and even got his thigh fixed. when the dr went in, he found a fracture in his thigh bone and put a plate on it.
recovery will be 6-8 wks if he does well with his rehab. i think he was in his bed maybe 5 min when the rehab girls came in and started working w/him. even had
him standing up. he was so tired and groggy from the surgery, i don't know how he did it. he won't get out of the hosp till thurs at the earliest.
after he took a good nap, he even ate a little supper. omg, you ought to see that dr!!! talk about goooood looking. dark wavy hair, big brown eyes, about
5'11" and around 32 or 33 yrs old!!!!

How does this sound to you guys. Give Iowa one of Charlotte dates. Move the All-Star Race after Richmond at Charlotte. Give Iowa the date before the 600.
